Apple issues Java updates for OS X 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8
Following Oracle's release of Java version 1.6_35, Apple has packaged and made it available for OS X users. Apple has released a security update for the Apple-supported Java runtime for OS X, which many users have installed on their systems. Java for OS X is available for Apple's latest three OS X releases starting with Snow Leopard.
