Mark Richard Hamill (born September 25, 1951) is an American actor, voice artist, producer, director, and writer, best known for his performance as Luke Skywalker in the original trilogy, as well as his voice role as the Joker in Batman: The Animated Series , its various spin-offs, and the video games Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City .
