For more than 30 days, Long Island Cares, Inc. has traveled throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties meeting the individuals and families that have had their lives changed by the impact of Hurricane Sandy. These have been thousands of people of all ages, from all backgrounds, and diverse economic means, but all with one common goal - to get their lives back.
