George Lester (Jerry Lewis), an American living in England, dreams of getting rich quick by renting out his English wife's ancestral manor as a discotheque. But when the bumbling George has to pay off the considerable damage done to the manor, he teams up with Willy Homer (Terry-Thomas) in a scheme to sell stolen plans for an electronic oil drill to the Arabs.
